The Navel Orange is a very vigorous variety with a purely compact habit, with very dark green foliage, perhaps the darkest of all oranges, with few and small thorns.The flowering of the Navel Orange is abundant in spring and the contrast of the white of the flowers with the dark green of the foliage is very beautiful. The flowers are very fragrant and give rise to fruits which when ripe reach a large size and a deep orange colour. The fruits of the Navel Orange have the characteristic of having another small orange in the underlying area, they have a blond pulp and no seeds and are very sweet. Maturation is early, starting from the last days of November. In a protected environmentNavel Orange can withstand temperatures of -10°, -12°.
